Professional Experience

Todd Monahan, a 21 year industry veteran, has spent most of his career in Center City Philadelphia leasing office space, where he has negotiated several million square feet of transactions in a variety of assignments.

Todd spent the first 10 years of his career in commercial real estate with Grubb & Ellis, representing both tenants and owners. Over the next six years, Todd was the Director of Leasing for Equity Office Properties (EOP), the largest office REIT in the country before its sale to Blackstone. EOP owned both 1601 and 1700 Market Street where Todd continually maintained occupancy levels above 92%. Todd then went on to work for American Financial Realty Trust as a Managing Director of Sales and Leasing. Prior to his current position as Senior Vice President of SSH Real Estate, Todd spent over two years with Patriot Equities as Vice President of Acquisitions, acquiring major corporate real estate dispositions throughout the country.

Todd and his wife, Kate, live with their three children, Casey, Jack and Finn, in Wayne, PA. The family is active in St. Katharine’s Parish, where their children attend school.

Todd is a member of the Union League of Philadelphia, and serves on the board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Ireland Fund.

Education

Todd graduated from the University of Richmond with a B.S. in Business Administration. Todd has received intensive training in a number of real estate disciplines and regularly attends continuing education classes.
