John Susanin, Doug Newbert Join SSH Real Estate; Lead Firm’s Radnor Office

Philadelphia, PA – SSH Real Estate has recently announced the opening of a suburban office located in Radnor, PA. This office will be led by two new Partners in the firm: John Susanin and Doug Newbert, both formerly of GVA Smith Mack. John and Doug bring with them over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, and both have been recognized as top producers in the business.

“It has been a goal to grow in the suburbs since Jeff Seligsohn and I became partners seven years ago; however, we have been busy building the Center City office into what it is today. The size and scale of what we have accomplished here was instrumental in attracting John and Doug to SSH,” says Peter Soens, Partner.

Since Pete and Jeff partnered seven years ago, SSH Real Estate has grown to a 75-person staff, including brokers and property management professionals. SSH Real Estate’s management division manages over six million square feet of office space, while its investment division has acquired office buildings totaling over 2.3 million square feet.

“In SSH we saw a unique opportunity. Since the firm is established and able to provide us with support and a sound infrastructure, we are able to spend time on transactions with existing clients, and focus on creating an SSH Real Estate presence in the Greater Philadelphia Region,” states John Susanin.

John and Doug have both spent the past 15 years doing business in the Philadelphia suburbs and beyond. Notable landlord representations include 1000 Continental in King of Prussia, and Sentry Park West in Blue Bell.

SSH Real Estate is one of the largest privately held commercial real estate companies in the Greater Philadelphia Region. The firm is unique in that it is the only commercial real estate company in the area with the size and scope of experience in brokerage, property management, and investments. SSH Real Estate's expertise in each line of service provides a better knowledge base and “big picture view,” which enables the firm to produce superior results for its clients.
