(Philadelphia, PA) — SSH Real Estate is pleased to announce the addition of Janet Chase, a veteran in the commercial real estate industry. Janet will be leading the firm’s newly created Residential Management Division. The Division’s first assignment is the management of Rittenhouse Plaza, 1901 Walnut Street in Philadelphia – a 267,996 square foot multi-family building with retail space on the ground floor.

Janet’s scope of skills cover a wide range, including financial and operational management, corporate reporting and budgeting, building maintenance, tenant relations, capital and tenant related construction, tax appeals, and asset management for residential, commercial, parking and retail properties.

Janet began her career with Hines Interests LP of Texas working in construction and contract management on the $85M renovation of 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. She later served as Vice President of Operations for a local real estate firm, overseeing residential apartments, retail shopping centers and commercial office properties. Most recently Janet served as Regional Portfolio Director with Behringer Harvard, overseeing the management of a portfolio of Class A office buildings in Philadelphia and the surrounding area.

Janet attended Point Park College in Pittsburgh, PA and regularly takes continuing education and specialty classes at Temple University and through BOMA. She is an Accredited Residential Manager and holds a Pennsylvania Real Estate Salesperson License.
The addition of the Residential Management Division complements the firm’s existing commercial property management division, and strengthens the comprehensive suite of services the firm is able to offer its clients.
